Staked hundreds of mining claims in many western states.  Here I am at a gold prospect in Colorado.

Sometimes the weather does not cooperate, but the claimstaking cannot wait until spring. 

Quantifying sulfur reserves at a deposit in California.  We used field mapping and air-hammer drilling.

I have done field mapping, rock and water sampling, and drilling for uranium, precious metals, and industrial minerals, in the United States and Mexico.

Also worked as mine geologist in an underground talc mine in Death Valley.
